Cómo estudiar español con videos, cortos o películas / How to study Spanish with videos, shorts or movies

                         


Una buena idea para aprender un idioma son los videos y películas, y es una excelente oportunidad para practicar la comprensión oral, para aprender nuevas palabras y para conocer la cultura.

Pero no se trata sólo de sentarte frente a la televisión y comer palomitas, para utilizar de manera óptima este recurso te damos algunas recomendaciones:
  • ·         Escoge una película que ya hayas visto, es conveniente porque conocerás la historia, sobre todo si es la primera vez que usas esa herramienta o eres principiante.
  • ·         Fija un objetivo: este es el punto más importante, por ejemplo, un objetivo puede ser “aprender palabras nuevas” “revisar tiempo presente y pretérito”; establecer un objetivo hará que tu atención esté centrada y así aprovecharás de mejor manera tu tiempo.
  • ·         Pon los subtítulos, al principio puedes usar los subtítulos en tu lengua materna, pero conforme avances, es mejor poner los subtítulos en español, así, de manera simultánea podrás ver y escuchar las palabras que no conoces. No te centres en los subtítulos.
  • ·         Haz pausas, regresa el video cuantas veces sea necesario, por ejemplo, cuando no entiendes algo o hay muchas palabras nuevas.
  • ·         Toma notas, este también es una recomendación que debes tomar en cuenta; toma notas sobre cómo se escriben las palabras, vocabulario nuevo, expresiones comunes y dudas que surjan durante tu lección.
  • ·         Repite los diálogos, trata de imitar la pronunciación y la entonación.
  • ·         Ve los videos o películas varias veces.

Es recomendable empezar con videos o cortometrajes que puedes encontrar en YouTube, charlas cortas sobre temas que te interesen y películas en habla hispana.
Sé constante y no te desanimes, al principio puede ser muy frustrante pero poco a poco te darás cuenta de que es una herramienta muy útil para familiarizarte con la lengua. Existe mucho material disponible.
