Today's topic is to talk about what we want for this new year.

 

At the end of the year we always evaluate, what happened?  Oops, I didn't achieve what I wanted... the past has been stepped on. What's the point of this?

 

Let's look at the positive aspects of the year, the attitude of lamenting or complaining does not lead us to anything, on the contrary. And as you said, let bygones be bygones.

So, let's set goals!

 

I would rather say purposes, if you don't define what you want in the year, other people plan it for you, be it your boss, your family, your co-workers...this is how it is.

objetivos- goals

 

A purpose can be to improve in Spanish in the case of those of us on this site?

 

Exactly, then I imagine myself on January 3, 2025 and I imagine myself speaking in Spanish and for example, I see the look of the others surprised, the Mexican friends, happy with my progress and proud. Then, I always write in the present tense, it is as if you were looking at the photo of that moment in 2025.

 

That is, you imagine that purpose accomplished, not the how and when you get it.

 

That's right, the how you get to the goal and the when you can't know, let the brain figure it out.

 

Is there a little magic?

 

Yes, why not, why do we have to control everything? In fact, if you draw it's much better, the brain remembers the images and colors more.

 

And if I draw badly, what do I do?

 

It doesn't matter, it's for you, nobody else sees it, only you. Besides, you become a child again for a little while.

 

Let’s imagine that one of your goals is to speak Spanish fluently, what can I do?
