Fluir / to flow |
Welcome!
Thank you for listening week after week. This is a podcast to practice Spanish
so we ask you to listen to it and then, if you need to, look for the
translation. We are going to translate some words, not all of them.
Yes,
we want it to be a fluid message, we don't want you to understand word by word,
but the context in general. It is not so important the message we give
besides,,,,
Well
sometimes we tell a joke that is not very funny, but we take the 5 minutes very
seriously. So, Male, if you want the audio to flow, let's start! What are we
talking about today?
Today
we talk about flowing, letting go, relaxing.
Or let
the water of a river flow, or the water in the pipes that is so important now
with the summer.
Or that the blood flows, which is very important so that the heart beats.

Of
course, that is fundamental, the blood has to flow very well. What about the
origin of “fluir”?
It
comes from the Latin, fluére, it is said that a liquid or a gas flows, that is,
it runs, it slides.
Words
can also flow from the mouth, so when a person speaks a language very well, it
is said that he speaks fluently.
Fluir – to flow
Fluidez - fluency
Practicing
Spanish at Club SpanishUp2U allows you to speak fluently in a short time. And
if you have any doubts, come to the workshop on Fridays: Let's talk at 1:00 in
the afternoon and simply: listen.
Speak fluently Spanish / Habla español con fluidez |
Fluir
is an irregular verb, it is conjugated as construir (to built), it changes the
i for Greek i.
Yo fluyo, tú fluyes, usted /él / ella fluye,
nosotros/as fluimos ellos/ellas/ustedes fluyen
La sangre fluye por las venas. The blood flows through the veins
In the
preterite tense we write flui without the accent. Its participle fluido, often
used as an adjective or noun, is also written without the accent.
It was
a quiet morning and the traffic was very fluid, however, I don't know why the
bus didn't pass.
In
economics?
Flujo de caja - Cash Flow
This
refers to cash inflows and outflows. Sometimes, it doesn't let you flow
smoothly in economics.
And in
psychology?
Nowadays,
the term flow or even the English word flow is widely used.
Thoughts
flow.
When
you're doing something you really like, you focus on the present and flow, it's
something like happiness. I like to flow like that.
Okay,
now, let's go to the phrases:
Déjalo correr – Go with the flow
You
can also say "alivianate", "relax”
Aliviánate - Loosen up
