ITINERARY “SAINT JAMES TRAIL”

Day 1 – Oct 2^nd - Arrival to Madrid and transfer (optional) to the hotel. Free afternoon to go out shopping in Salamanca neighborhood location of the best boutiques in Madrid. In the evening the group will get together at the lobby and we will go dining in a typical restaurant near the hotel.  Lodging.

Day 2 – Oct 3^rd -Breakfast. At 9 we´ll meet at the lobby to go to “La Granja de San Ildefonso”. We´ll visit this Royal Palace and go on to Segovia for a 2 hour visit walking downtown. Then after a break we´ll go on to “El Escorial” where we´ll have lunch and proceed to visit the famous Monastery. We´ll return to Madrid, have a rest and at 9 pm we go out for tapas. Lodging.

Day 3 – Oct 4^th - Breakfast. At 9 we´ll meet at the lobby and take a public bus to go to “Museo del Prado”. After visiting the museum we will go to one of the best restaurants in Madrid for lunch. After a deserved rest we´ll take another bus to go to Madrid Royal Palace. When finishing the visit we´ll walk along downtown towards the Plaza Mayor to tapear again before going back to the hotel. Lodging.

Day 4 – Oct 5^th - Breakfast and transfer to the train station to go to Sarria in Galicia, first stage of the Path. Transfer from the station to the hotel. Welcome cocktail. Free afternoon. Dinner and lodging.

Day 5 – Oct 6^th- Breakfast. Phase Sarria-Portomarín → 22 km 4-5 h. Picnic on the way. Arrival, rest and dinner. Lodging.

Day 6 – Oct 7^th -Breakfast. Phase Portomarín-Palas de Rei → 24 km 5-6 h. Picnic on the way. Arrival, rest and dinner. Lodging.

Day 7 – Oct 8^th -Breakfast. Phase Palas de Rei-Melide → 14 km 3-4 h. Picnic on the way. Arrival, rest and dinner. Lodging.

Day 8 – Oct 9^th -Breakfast. Phase Melide-Arzúa → 14 km 3-4 h. Picnic on the way. Arrival, rest and dinner. Lodging.

Day 9 – Oct 10^th -Breakfast. Phase Arzúa-Rúa → 19 km 4-5 h. Picnic on the way. Arrival, rest and dinner. Lodging.

Day 10 – Oct 11^th -Breakfast. Phase Rúa-Santiago → 21 km 4-5 h. Picnic on the way. Arrival. Visit to Santiago de Compostela Cathedral and getting the pilgrim certificate. Rest and dinner. Lodging at Parador de Santiago.

Day 11 – Oct 12^th -Breakfast. Visit to the city, rest of the day free. Farewell dinner and lodging.

Day 12 – Oct 13^th -After breakfast transfer to the airport to take the flight back to Madrid. Arrival to Madrid at 2.55 pm (there are earlier flights in case you need one). End of our services.

Conditions of the booking:

When booking it is required a payment of 1,000 USD per person.

1 month before departure the balance must be paid.

Cancellation policy:

-          Cancellation fee applied in any case: 150 USD per persona. In case the cancellation is done 21 days prior to departure the rest of the money paid will be refund.

-          Penalization consists of 25% of the total Price if the cancellation occurs between 20 to 15 days prior to the beginning of the trip; 50% between 15 to 5 days, and 100% within 4 days prior to the departure or in case of no show.

OPTIONAL:

-          Before or after the trip extensions may be added on request wherever it may be, Finisterre, Bilbao, Paris a cruise or any other destination you may wish.

ITINERARIO “CAMINO DE SANTIAGO”

Día 1 - oct 2– Llegada a Madrid y traslado (opcional) al hotel. Tarde libre para salir de compras por el barrio de Salamanca sede de las principales boutiques de Madrid. Por la noche el grupo se reunirá en el  lobby del hotel y saldremos a cenar en un restaurante típico cerca del hotel. Alojamiento.

Día 2 - oct 3– Desayuno. A las 9 nos encontramos en el lobby para salir hacia “La Granja de San Ildefonso”. Visitaremos este Palacio Real y luego seguiremos camino hasta Segovia para una visita de 2 horas caminando por el centro de la ciudad. Luego de tomarnos un descanso nos dirigiremos a “El Escorial” donde almorzaremos en un restaurante local para proceder a visitar el famoso Monasterio. Retornamos a Madrid, descansamos y las 9 de la noche salimos de tapas. Alojamiento.

Día 3 – oct 4- Desayuno. A las 9 nos encontramos en el lobby y tomamos un transporte público para ir al “Museo del Prado”. Luego de visitar el museo nos dirigiremos a uno de los mejores restaurantes de Madrid para almorzar. Después de una merecida sobremesa volvemos a tomar el transporte público para ir al “Palacio Real”. Luego de visitar el Palacio caminaremos por el centro de Madrid hacia la Plaza Mayor para volver a tapear antes de regresar al hotel. Alojamiento.

Día 4 – oct 5- Desayuno y traslado a la estación de tren para dirigirnos a Sarria en Galicia, primera etapa del Camino. Traslado desde la estación de tren hasta el hotel. Tarde libre. Cena y Alojamiento.

Día 5 – oct 6 - Desayuno. Etapa Sarria-Portomarín → 22 km 4-5 h. Picnic en el camino. Llegada, descanso y cena. Alojamiento.

Día 6 – oct 7 - Desayuno. Etapa Portomarín-Palas de Rei → 24 km 5-6 h. Picnic en el camino. Llegada, descanso y cena. Aloj.

Día 7 – oct 8 -Desayuno. Etapa Palas de Rei-Melide → 14 km 3-4 h. Picnic en el camino. Llegada, descanso y cena. Alojamiento.

Día 8 – oct 9- Desayuno. Etapa Melide-Arzúa → 14 km 3-4 h. Picnic en el camino. Llegada, descanso y cena. Alojamiento.

Día 9 – oct 10 - Desayuno. Etapa Arzúa-Rúa → 19 km 4-5 h. Picnic en el camino. Llegada, descanso y cena. Alojamiento.

Día 10 – oct 11- Desayuno. Etapa Rúa-Santiago → 21 km 4-5 h. Picnic en el camino. Llegada. Visita a la Catedral de Santiago de Compostela y entrega del certificado del peregrino. Descanso y cena. Alojamiento en  el Parador de Santiago.

Día 11 – oct 12 - Desayuno. Visita por la ciudad, resto del día libre. Cena de despedida y alojamiento.

Día 12 – oct 13 - Tras el desayuno, traslado al aeropuerto para tomar el vuelo de regreso a Madrid. Llegada a Madrid a las 2.55 pm (hay vuelos más temprano en caso de ser necesario). Fin de nuestros servicios.

Condiciones de la reserva:

Al momento de reservar se necesitará un pago de 1,000 USD por persona.

1 mes antes de la fecha de inicio del viaje se hará efectivo el importe restante de la reserva.

Política de cancelación:

-          Gastos de gestión de cancelación en cualquier caso: 150 USD por persona. En caso de cancelación con hasta 21 días antes de la salida se devolverá el resto del dinero que haya sido pagado.

-          Penalización consistente en el 25% del importe total del viaje si la anulación se produce entre 20 y 15 días antes de la fecha de comienzo del viaje; el 50% entre 15 y 5 días, y el 100% dentro de los cuatro días anteriores a la salida o de no presentarse.

OPCIONAL:

-          Antes o después del viaje se podrán agregar extensiones a solicitud adónde sea, Finisterre, Bilbao, París, un crucero o lo que deseen.

-          Cotización del vuelo internacional.
