Estamos muy emocionados con la apertura del Mercado Orgánico, ¡ya es un clásico de los sábados en San José! Nos encanta verlos pasar con sus bolsas de tela (para no usar las feas y contaminantes bolsitas de nylon) caminado rápido a comprar vegetales y frutas orgánicas de la región, a tomar un café y a conversar.
Extrañábamos el sol de las “mañanitas” de sábado, esperándolos bajo el árbol de la entrada; aquí preguntan por su futuro con
Thinkerbell, se visten muy guapos con la ropa de
Sylvia Brull y por supuesto, ¡platican español y se anotan para nuestros talleres o clases de cocina en el puesto de
Spanish in Cabo!
¿Hay mejor oficina?
Además, enfrente a nosotros, pueden probar las maravillosas cremas naturales de
Cheryl Miller, ¡que bien huelen! o tomar un buen desayuno con tamales, quesadillas, sopes, pizzas y aguas dulces naturales o nieves artesanales. Todo esto mientras admiran pinturas, fotografías y artesanías elaboradas aquí nomás, en Los Cabos. Si te quieres apapachar, ¿qué tal un masaje? O ¿comprar un libro? En español, por supuesto.
¡Qué decir de nuestro original escenario: el mango! ¡El arte es otro capítulo del Mercado! La cultura local vive allí. Hablaremos de esto en un próximo boletín.
Año tras año, ¡y van muchos! El Mercado nos regala nuevas oportunidades de conocer gente y amigos. Muchos de los lectores de este Boletín y estudiantes de la escuela o participantes activos de las clases de cocina, nos conocieron allí bajo el árbol de la entrada!
Pero, esta emoción también es compartida por muchos, pues todos conformamos el Mercado.
Si no me creen, transcribo lo que dijeron muchos visitantes en el

Frente a la pregunta: ¿Qué impresión tienen del Mercado?
Los entrevistados respondieron:

“Bonito, nos encanta la naturaleza”
• “Es hermoso, es bueno más un mercado de artesanías que un Mercado”
• “¡Es una de las mejores cosas de la semana!
• “Es una versión diferente de los mercados de California”
• “El ambiente es chido”
• “Venimos todas las semanas, compramos los vegetales, traemos a todos nuestros invitados, es una de las razones por las cuales nos gusta San José”
• “Es parte de la expresión social, tenemos nuevos amigos y nos encanta relacionarnos”
Y otros concluyeron:
“Nada más que darse una vuelta para entender cómo funciona, se ha convertido en parte del diario vivir de San José en el invierno al sol, es un verdadero clásico. Muchos de los que nos visitan todos los sábados y que traen sus amigos, interactúan, participan y ¡ya son parte del Mercado!”

We are very excited with the opening of the Organic Market, it is already a classic on Saturdays in San José. Are there a better office?
Besides, you can smell and try fantastic natural creams with
Cherry Miller, just in front of us!
Furthermore, you can please your stomach with a good breakfast with tamales, quesadillas, sopes, pizzas and natural freshwater or handcraft ice creams. All this, while admiring paintings, photographs and handicrafts made just here in Los Cabos. If you want to pamper yourself, how about a massage? Or How about buying a book? In Spanish, of course.
How we can say about our beautiful stage: the mango! This is another history! The local culture is there. We will talk about that in our next Boletín.
Year after year, and they are many! The market gives us new opportunities to meet people and friends. This is the case of many readers of this newsletter and the school students or participants in the cooking classes. We met you under the tree of the Organic!
